Spears and Asghari recently split, with the latter filing for divorce after just 14 months of marriage, but six years together in total. Prior to heading to the courthouse to legally end his marriage, Asghari alleged that his popstar wife cheated on him with a house staff member and whenever they spoke about it, she allegedly became abusive.
Meanwhile, Spears and her team have denied any truth to the claims, instead claiming that she’s not doing that well amid the split; being that Asghari was her only line of support. If you recall, the “Toxic” singer cut off her family after her father’s strict and controlling 13-year conservatorship ended in November 2021.
Amid the couple’s divorce announcement, Asghari has even been accused of sexual harassment while he was married to Spears. We even shared a report about a fan recalling how former ‘Bad Girls Club‘ star Morgan Osman previously claimed how she was dating Spears’ then-boyfriend in 2017, further alleging how he was using her, and how she “felt sorry” for Spears.
Since all of the recent headlines about the divorcing couple, it is now being learned that since fleeing his wife and marital home, Asghari is still looking for a handout from his estranged wife. According to TMZ, Spears is paying $10,000 a month for her estranged husband’s new apartment, which is said to be in one of the most high-end buildings in Los Angeles, CA.
Reportedly, the $10,000 price tag is for a standard unit in the high-rise building, however, Asghari apparently haggled his way into a better apartment for the same base price. Sources tell the publication that Spears taking care of Asghari’s new place is just a “kind gesture” via her handlers. As we previously reported, the divorcing couple do have a prenup in place, which is said to protect all of Spears’ pre-marriage assets.
However, at some point following their divorce news, it was reported that Asghari allegedly threatened Spears and her team that if they didn’t renegotiate the prenup, he’d expose confidential and private information about his estranged wife. Responding to the alleged threats, Spears’ team doubled down on him not getting one extra red cent than he’s owed. However, other sources claim in the end, Spears may just write him a check to settle things as quietly and quickly as possible. We will continue to follow up to keep you updated.
