I had the privilege of eating one of Spain’s most popular and iconic delicacy called “Tapas” and it is like a signature cuisine that is everywhere not just in Spain but the whole of Madrid. Generally Tapas could pass for small bites but they are way more than it😊
Tapas are an essential part of Spanish culture, and they’re loved all over the world, they are small plates of food usually served with wine or other beverages. They can be hot or cold and typically shared among friends or even Solo.
Tapas are often made with fresh, local ingredients and they’re a great way to sample the flavors of Spain. Some of the most iconic tapas include patatas bravas (fried potatoes with spicy sauce), tortilla Española (potato omelet), and gambas al ajillo (shrimp with garlic).
Tapas are best enjoyed slowly over the course of an afternoon or evening and since the portions are small, you can sample a wide variety of dishes without getting too full 😅😅
I had this delicious Tapas cuisine at El trébol, “El trébol de Oro” is a famous tapas bar in Madrid, Spain! and it’s famous for its traditional Spanish tapas including classics like patatas bravas, boquerones en vinagre (marinated anchovies), and tortilla Española.
It’s a popular spot with locals and tourists alike with a lively, festive atmosphere. You can expect to hear live music and see people enjoying a drink and a snack after work. I had my lunch in El trébol and the tapas here are simple and authentic, and the prices are very reasonable.
If you want to enjoy a unique tapas lunch at El trébol, you’ll want to try the “Menu del Día”. A daily menu that includes a selection of tapas, a main dish, dessert, and a drink, all for a fixed price. The menu changes daily, so you can always try something new. Plus, the restaurant has a beautiful terrace where you can enjoy your meal while taking in the sights of the city so if you are ever in Toledo, Spain then El trébol is a very good place to do Tapas because it is truly a special experience!
