I have been to Dubai about 7 times and never made it to the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah but I always wanted to go! I think the foodie in me was a little worried about paying so much money for disappointing food because a lot of luxury restaurants don’t have good food. I am a very picky eater and hard to impress with food. However I was pleasantly surprised.
Things to note if you decide to visit The Burj Al Arab Luxury 7 Star Hotel, Dubai, UAE on your next trip to Dubai.
Reservation: You must have a reservation to enter the gate. The security personnel at the gate will confirm your reservation before you can go in. If you cannot afford to book a room which costs from $1,300 USD upwards, you can make a reservation at one of their fine restaurants.
I made a late (10pm) dinner reservation at Skyview restaurant which is their indoor rooftop restaurant on the 27th floor. The décor of the hotel is very impressive and awe inspiring and the food and service was excellent. I had the Sando beef sandwich, 2 glasses of Prosecco cos I saw 👀 95 for a glass of champagne and panicked 😆🤣. Thinking about it now, it was probably AED not USD😅. I also had the chocolate pecan brownie with ice cream dessert and everything was so good, I ate every morsel.
My entire bill was about $100 so it’s actually cheaper than a lot of restaurants in the US. It was totally worth it, the night time view of Dubai was great too, Next time I go to Dubai, I plan to check it out in the day time for afternoon tea now that I know they have great food 😁.
