The Bible has many instances where God promises healing and restoration. These verses talk about healing and freedom from sickness through faith and the power of God. Do also visit your physician even as you exercise Faith in God through prayers for healing.
In James 5:14-16, it’s written: “Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up.
Isaiah 53:5: “But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.”
In Exodus 15:26: “He said, ‘If you listen carefully to the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you.’”
Matthew 4:24: “So his fame spread throughout all Syria, and they brought him all the sick, those afflicted with various diseases and pains, those oppressed by demons, epileptics, and paralytics, and he healed them.”
Mark 5:34: “And he said to her, ‘Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your disease.’”
The Bible teaches that God is sovereign and His ways are beyond human understanding. While divine healing is a possibility, it’s important to approach these promises with humility, acknowledging that God’s plan may involve physical healing, but it also encompasses spiritual growth, character development, and eternal purposes. Let these verses guide you in prayers as you and your family pray for total freedom from sickness. Do not forget to also get your Doctor’s opinion and work with them on your healing process.
