Masaki Oyster Bay; one of the first-class areas in Dar es Salaam, when i say first class i mean where the wealthy and affluent people reside. It’s a beautiful beach area in Dar es Salaam with stunning views and a variety of seafood restaurants, they have some of the best seafoods restaurants in Dar es Salaam with fresh oysters, lobsters, crab and other delicacies on the menu.
I tried some local Tanzania cuisine like ugali, chapati and nyama choma………well!!!!!!!!!don’t look at me like that, it’s my husband’s people that are teaching me the names 😂😂😂
Why I love this Place
I really love this place because the atmosphere is so relaxed and peaceful and you feel like you are a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city. As you enjoy your meals you can hear the waves gently lapping at the shore and in the evenings, you can enjoy the vibrant nightlife at the nearby Masaki Cocktail Bar.
I can go on and on about the beauty of Masaki Oyster Bay. The way the sunlight reflects off the water, the smell of the sea air – it’s like a tropical paradise. And it’s not just the beach that’s beautiful – the entire area is lush and green, with lots of trees and plants. The small villages in the area are also charming, with traditional houses and colorful markets.
It’s hard to not fall in love with this place
Some travel tips to Masaki that will make the most of your adventure memorable; the best time to visit is during the dry season when the rain has reduced.
