Panama is such a diverse and interesting country so there’s a lot to explore! One of the most popular activities is visiting;
The Panama Canal where you can take a boat tour through the locks, and learn all about the history and engineering of this incredible feat of human ingenuity.
Another must-see is Casco Viejo, the historic district of Panama City. It is filled with colonial-era buildings, museums, and delicious restaurants.
You should also visit the tropical rainforests of Panama, like Soberania National Park. There you can hike through the jungle and even spot monkeys! 😉

It’s one of the largest marine parks in the world, and it’s home to an incredible variety of wildlife. You can spot humpback whales, sea turtles, dolphins, and over 200 species of birds. And that’s not all – Coiba is also home to the elusive Baird’s tapir, a rare mammal that looks like a mix between a pig and an anteater. Well how does that sound!!!
And If you want to get off the beaten path, you should visit the Bocas del Toro islands.
These idyllic islands are known for their pristine beaches and lush jungles. You can swim, surf, or simply relax on the white sand.
There’s also great snorkeling and scuba diving in the surrounding waters. And for something completely different, you can visit the coffee plantations of Boquete, which are surrounded by the lush greenery of the Chiriqui Highlands.
There’s just too much to do in Panama and you should definitely consider this destination.
