-Be aware of your surroundings. Don’t wear flashy jewelry, and be cautious of who you share information with While you’re traveling. Trust your instincts and be alert for anything that seems suspicious.
-Keep in touch with someone at home. It’s always a good idea to let someone know your itinerary and check in with them periodically.
-Have a backup plan. Know what to do if something goes wrong, like getting lost or having your wallet stolen.
