Traveling makes me soooo happy 😃🥰. Right now, nothing can make me sad when I remember my upcoming trip to Zanzibar!!! Fondly known as The Maldives of Africa💃💃💃 because of its immense beauty🔥🔥🔥.
Well it will interest you to know that Zanzibar is located in Tanzania 🇹🇿, my 9th Country to visit in 2023 and I’ll be headed in October. This year I have worked remotely on all my trips, but this trip, I am taking a full vacation because I really want to relax and enjoy Zanzibar.
Here’s what to know about Zanzibar
It is a semi independent free region of Tanzania, an archipelago nestled off the coast of East Africa. the natives are called Zanzibaris😊🤝.
Spice Island: Zanzibar is often referred to as the “Spice Island” because of its historical association with the spice trade. It’s known for producing spices like cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, and black pepper.
Diverse Culture: Zanzibar has a diverse population with a mix of African, Arab, Indian, and Persian influences. This cultural diversity is reflected in its cuisine, music, and festivals.
Idyllic Beaches: Zanzibar is famous for its pristine white-sand beaches and crystal-clear waters. Some of the most popular beaches include Nungwi, Kendwa, and Paje.
Zanzibar is also home to tourism, a very beautiful place decorated with the goodness of nature, a holiday here offers a pleasing blend of rich cultures, stunning natural scenery and a welcoming environment and I really can’t wait to have a glimpse of this, next month October 16-21st.
The rock restaurant
As a travel lover, I’m already thrilled by the activities that await me. The close contact with nature and beauty, exortic meals, wine, name it……..wait i haven’t even told you about “The rock restaurant” it is the most visited place in Zanzibar, it rises a short distance from the shores of a beautiful Michanwi Pingwe beach. A place filled with varieties of new and good food and of course a good wine, a wine expert like me need great wine to digest good food 😂😋 check picture slide 3 for a view of the restaurant
In Conclusion, the excitement that accompanies traveling is not just about the pleasure but also what you get to learn and unlearn about different places and cultures.
Counting down to trip to Zanzibar(16-21 October) and I’m already thrilled and fascinated 🥰. Tickets prices have immensely gone down and now is a great time to book tickets and join me on this awesome trip.
